There is no such creature as a perfect mom
. . . only moms who do their best.
In the midst of answering lots of questions, running errands and washing enough laundry to fill a football stadium, Moms can sometimes lose perspective on what is most important. It’s not that we mean to, it’s just there is so much to do. If you’re in the trenches of motherhood, try to remind yourself every day that you don’t have to be perfect. There is no such person as supermom and it’s ok not to have a spotless home. I know you feel overwhelmed, but don’t forget that God has given you strength today to accomplish the task of motherhood.
Tips for Busy Moms
Thirty minutes before bedtime do the following:
- Wash dishes (put in dishwasher if you have one and turn it on.)
- Pick up the main living areas (family room & kitchen).
- Toss out all the trash (go around the house with a trash bag and toss).
- Get kid’s clothes, backpacks and lunches ready for tomorrow.
It’s important that you sleep at least 7 hours each night. You’ll be more productive and in a better mood the next day. So get some sleep and let God take care of the rest.
